Fluxport launches carbon offsetting programme for all shipments

Fluxport has launched a carbon offsetting programme available across all shipment types and modes, allowing clients to offset the unavoidable emissions associated with their logistics activity. The programme is integrated directly into the Fluxport platform and can be activated at the point of booking, with costs calculated per shipment based on mode, distance, and load factor, and full documentation provided for ESG reporting purposes.
Each offset is routed through a portfolio of verified projects, including reforestation programmes in Southeast Asia and East Africa and renewable energy installations in Latin America.
All projects are independently verified against recognised standards, and Fluxport publishes a quarterly impact report detailing the volume of offsets purchased and the outcomes delivered by each project. Clients receive a per-shipment certificate confirming the offset amount and the project it supports.
"We're not under any illusion that offsetting alone solves the emissions problem in logistics. But it gives our clients a verified, documented tool for managing residual emissions right now, while we work on the harder, longer-term structural changes. Accountability has to start somewhere."
Part of a larger commitment
The offsetting programme is one component of Fluxport's broader sustainability roadmap, which includes a science-aligned net-zero target for 2040. The company has been publishing annual emissions data since 2023 and introduced route-level carbon reporting for all clients earlier this year, giving businesses the data they need to understand and actively manage the environmental impact of their supply chains.
Why now
The launch reflects both client demand and regulatory direction. An increasing number of Fluxport's enterprise clients are subject to mandatory supply chain emissions reporting under emerging EU and US disclosure frameworks. The offsetting programme gives those clients a verified, documented mechanism for managing residual emissions that cannot yet be eliminated through operational changes alone.

The carbon offsetting programme is available immediately to all Fluxport clients at no additional platform cost. Offsetting can be applied to individual shipments or activated automatically across all bookings. Clients can manage preferences and access offset certificates directly from their Fluxport dashboard.
